I · Wed May 19
Arrival & intention
Check-in at 3pm. Welcome dinner. Tara's opening circle. Unhurried on purpose.
An Introduction
A five-day reset in the forest the world hasn’t ruined yet.
Why Here
Tara picks HIGHER retreat locations by feel. Zion. Sedona. Maui. Tulum. Places where the land itself does a portion of the work — where the air reliably changes and the nervous system quiets down without being asked to.
Snoqualmie Falls is the next. A 270-foot cascade the Snoqualmie people have held sacred for thousands of years. Deep cedar forest. A river that moves whether you do or not. Something in the ground resets you before the first workshop begins.
If you feel a pull in your soul toward a specific retreat, honor that. The people who need to be here will be here.
What You'll Leave With
Your Host
Coach, Athlete, Author, Speaker · Founder of HIGHER Retreats
Tara has coached thousands of high-performing professionals, elite athletes, and entrepreneurs through transformations that stick. Her framework integrates strength training, metabolic health, and mindset — Physique, Physiology, and Psychology — into one cohesive approach that refuses to flinch at any of them.
She hosts HIGHER retreats in places where the landscape itself does half the work. Zion. Maui. Sedona. Tulum. And now, the Pacific Northwest — a place she has been waiting for the right time to bring this group.
At HIGHER Pacific Northwest she will lead the opening circle, two evening workshops, and the closing integration session.
The Setting
Snoqualmie Falls is a place of origin for the Snoqualmie people — a 270-foot cascade they have held sacred for thousands of years. Salish Lodge sits at the edge of it, owned and operated by the Snoqualmie Tribe since 2019. You feel the difference. The ground here does not perform.
The spa at Salish is open to overnight guests — soaking pools, steam room, sauna, and a cold plunge pool, plus a full treatment menu. Mature cedar forest starts at the property line. The Snoqualmie River runs past the Lodge. The Cascades stand behind all of it.
Where You Sleep
Salish's Classic Rooms keep it simple: slate fireplaces, modern finishes, deep showers, and the kind of bed you don't want to leave. You'll either share a double-queen with one other attendee, or have a king to yourself.

From Past Retreats
I was so surprised by how deep it ended up being. To be with a group of people that are genuinely open to the work they're doing AND vulnerable enough to express it — I was not expecting that. If you are on the fence about a HIGHER Retreat … do it. Just do it. Surrender into what it could be and let yourself go with curiosity and openness. It'll invoke change, even in the subtlest of ways.
The most powerful day for me was the day devoted to my Inner Child — between the hike with the meditation at the top, the yoga, and the evening to dress as my inner child, it was all facilitated perfectly for me to feel paradigms shifting.
It was great to be in a community of like-minded individuals and feel safe to open up to people I'd never met before without judgment. It definitely pushed me outside of my comfort level — in a good way. I highly recommend it to anyone on a journey of self-discovery and healing.
During this retreat I learned to love. Love fearlessly. Love myself, and love others with a more graceful heart. It reminded me that life is so short, but we can make it so beautiful. I loved everyone there, and I can't wait till the next one.
It was a huge breath of fresh air to be surrounded by a group of such amazing people. You could feel just how real and genuine everyone was. It makes it hard to leave that vibe and go back into my life — I know that means I have changes to make.
The vibe of connecting with others and watching them partake in life-changing moments was incredible. You will regret not taking an opportunity to upgrade your life, and the self-discovery is endless if you truly open yourself up to it.
Questions
Adults who already take their health seriously and are ready for a reset — whether that's around strength training, metabolic health, hormonal shifts, or just the cumulative weight of doing it all. Comfort with moderate physical activity (hiking, rafting, paddling) is assumed.
No. HIGHER retreats are open to anyone who resonates with the philosophy and is ready for this kind of experience.
Middle Fork rafting is Class III–IV. You must be able to swim and be comfortable with moderate physical exertion; Triad River Tours has final say on participation and will require a signed waiver. The hike is moderate, around 3 miles with some elevation. If you have specific concerns, email us before booking and we'll talk it through.

All sales are final — no refunds for any reason. We strongly recommend purchasing trip protection insurance at the time of booking. In limited cases, transfers to another attendee may be possible. See our full Terms of Service for details.
